Natalie Winiarski (she/her)
Natalie is a warm and compassionate psychologist who supports children, adolescents, families, and young adults. She understands that therapy is not one size fits all and is passionate about understanding each person's unique situation. Natalie ensures that therapy is a collaborative process to help people make meaningful change in their lives. She aims to foster a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can comfortably explore their emotions, thoughts, and personal experiences.
She has a particular interest in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders and disordered eating/body image concerns. Natalie values a family-oriented approach when working with young people and their families and she incorporates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her treatment process.
Natalie has worked across public health and community settings, including the Intensive Day Program for Adolescents (EDIPA) at Sydney Children's Hospital, Westmead Anxiety Research and Treatment Unit and the UNSW Psychology Clinic. Natalie completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales and her undergraduate Honours degree in Psychology at Sydney University (for which she received The University Medal). Natalie is currently completing her clinical psychology registrar program under the supervision of TMC director, Dr Daniel Mullens.
Natalie sees clients in North Sydney on Thursdays and Fridays.
