Sara works primarily with adults and adolescents and is interested in all forms of anxiety including fears relating to performance or social occasions, phobias, and panic attacks; in problems related to mood, self-esteem, perfectionism, and relationship difficulties; in behavioural issues including procrastination and compulsions; and in difficulties related to body image and disordered eating. Sara has training and experience with a variety of therapy interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT); plus in the area of Eating Disorders, she has experience in delivering Family Based Therapy (FBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). In her work with parents, Sara complements her ABFT training with adherence to Bowen theory and principles. She is also qualified to deliver the Circle of Security Parenting Program.

Prior to joining The Mind Clinic, Sara spent three years working with Child and Youth Mental Health Services at Royal North Shore Hospital. She also has previous experience in private practice and working in a specialised anxiety treatment unit.
