Rose Berdebes (she/her)

Rose is a warm, genuine and collaborative clinical psychologist who works with individuals aged 18 years and over. She specialises in women’s mental health across major life transitions, with a particular focus on Perinatal Mental Health, including perinatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, miscarriage and fertility challenges. She is passionate about supporting women facing the physical and emotional changes that accompany perimenopause and menopause. Rose has clinical experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, grief, OCD, perfectionism, relationship issues, sleep issues, stress, workplace issues, pain management and mild to moderate brain injury. 

 

Rose works from a strengths-based approach, believing that all individuals have inherent skills and may need support in applying them. She draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and has a particular passion for Schema Therapy. She is committed to helping her clients understand themselves more deeply, improve their relationships, manage difficult emotions and thoughts, and shift unhelpful behavioural patterns.

 

Rose is an AHPRA approved Clinical Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours, a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Perinatal Mental Health. She has worked across inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, not-for-profits, as well as private practice.

 

Rose consults from our Leichhardt clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
