Amy Regan   (she/her)

Amy is a warm and compassionate clinician who works with adults of all ages. She approaches her work with openness and curiosity, and is dedicated to helping her clients to explore their challenges, achieve their goals, and find their life worth living.

Amy has clinical experience working with adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions, as well as those adjusting to difficult life transitions. She particularly enjoys working with clients experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and emotion regulation and interpersonal difficulties.

Working from a person-centred lens, Amy aims to tailor evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices, to best suit the needs of her clients.

Prior to practising as a psychologist, Amy worked as a lawyer in private practice and in-house roles. Passionate about improving mental health outcomes, she pursued qualifications in clinical psychology at the University of New South Wales, and is currently completing the clinical psychology registrar program under the supervision of TMC director, Dr Nikki Johnson. When not at TMC, Amy works in a public community mental health team, caring for clients with complex psychological and social needs. Amy is an Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).

Amy sees clients at the North Sydney practice on Mondays and at the Mosman practice on Fridays.
