Alison Jardine (she/her)
Alison is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults. She understands that reaching out for support can sometimes feel daunting and places a strong emphasis on creating a relaxed, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable and supported.

Alison works with children and adolescents experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety and mood difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, school avoidance, academic stress, friendship and relationship challenges, and adjustment to family changes. When working with children, Alison takes an attachment-focused and family-centred approach, working closely with parents to understand their child’s needs and develop practical strategies for everyday life. She is also a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Therapist, an evidence-based intervention focused on strengthening parent-child relationships and supporting positive behaviour.

Alison also enjoys working with young adults navigating anxiety and mood difficulties, relationships, life transitions, work and study stress, burnout, and sleep difficulties. She takes a collaborative and individualised approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Alison also conducts comprehensive psychological assessments, including autism, ADHD, cognitive, and learning assessments.

Alison’s clinical experience spans hospital, private practice, research, and community settings. Alongside her work at The Mind Clinic, Alison works as a Clinical Psychologist within the Cardiology team at Westmead Children’s Hospital, supporting children, young people, and their families with impacts of health conditions, medical treatment, and hospital experiences.

Alison sees clients at our North Sydney clinic on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
