Felicity Kiln The Mind Clinic

Felicity is passionate about working with children, young adults and their families. She specialises in treating anxiety, mood and behavioural disorders in children and young people and has a keen interest in perinatal mental health difficulties including postnatal anxiety and depression. Felicity works with clients in an open, curious, and reflective manner, to support them to make meaningful and effective changes in their lives.


Felicity has a wide range of clinical experience across Child & Youth Mental Health and Child & Family Health services as well as school settings. Felicity works primarily from an attachment framework, focusing on strengthening the parent-child relationship and emotional connection, and supporting parents to enhance their parenting skills. Felicity completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney and is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and a number of evidence-based parenting interventions, including Circle of Security which helps parents strengthen their bond and connection with their child: building safe and secure relationships and promoting healthy interpersonal, emotional and social behaviour.

Felicity is also passionate about providing support for pregnant women and new parents suffering with anxiety and depression. She is experienced in providing support for a range of common issues including; helping parents manage their emotional health through pregnancy and early parenthood, helping parents understand their child’s emotional needs and enhancing the parent-child relationship.  

Felicity is currently on maternity leave.
